UK07 Rider Controversy: Why His Name Is Suddenly Trending

Motovlogger and Bigg Boss 17 Contestant Anurag Dobhal Ignites a Nationwide Online Storm After Publicly Accusing His Family of Mental Harassment Over His Inter-Caste Marriage, Followed by a Life-Threatening Car Crash During a Live Instagram Broadcast

UK07 Rider Controversy

The UK07 Rider controversy first captured national attention on March 4, 2026, when Anurag Dobhal one of India’s most-followed moto vloggers uploaded a nearly two-hour emotional video accusing his parents and brother of sustained mental torture. Within 72 hours, the situation escalated from a domestic family dispute into a national crisis after Dobhal deliberately crashed his Toyota Fortuner into a highway divider at 150 km/h during an Instagram Live session that over 80,000 viewers watched in real time. He currently remains in the ICU, and millions of fans continue to search for answers across social media platforms.

From Biking Fame to Broken Family — Who Is UK07 Rider?

Anurag Dobhal, a native of Dehradun, built his online identity around the alias UK07 Rider, a reference to the Uttarakhand vehicle registration code. He amassed millions of YouTube subscribers through high-energy motovlogs, luxury car showcases, and his signature persona “Babubhaiya.” His public profile grew further when he entered Bigg Boss 17, making him a recognizable face even beyond the core YouTube audience.

After the reality show, Dobhal married Ritika Chauhan in April 2025. Ritika belongs to a Rajput family, while Dobhal comes from a Brahmin household a caste difference that, according to him, triggered deep hostility from his family.

The “Last Vlog” That Started Everything

On March 4, 2026, Dobhal posted what he called his “last vlog” a nearly two-hour video in which he broke down on camera and accused his parents Jagdamba Dobhal and Chandrakala Dobhal, his brother Atul Dobhal (known online as Kalam Ink), and Atul’s girlfriend Shreya of destroying his life. He stated that his family barred Ritika from their home shortly after the wedding and forced him to apologize in front of relatives by folding his hands. He also disclosed that he had attempted to end his life at least once before making the video, saying: “I tried the previous day but couldn’t gather the courage.”

The video spread rapidly online and prompted Uttarakhand Police to take notice. Dobhal later deleted the video from YouTube, and reports suggest either YouTube’s self-harm content policies triggered its removal, or external pressure including police intervention prompted him to pull it down.

Dobhal alleged in the video that his family did not merely disapprove of Ritika they actively worked to push her out. He claimed his brother told their mother that the new daughter-in-law would not cook in the house, sparking a family confrontation. He further alleged that his parents blocked the couple from accessing the family home after the wedding and forced him to live separately.

On the financial front, Dobhal alleged his family took over his property and assets, including his pets. He stated that a legal case filed against his family ultimately did not go in his favour, adding to his distress. Anurag and Ritika had also previously announced a pregnancy, making the breakdown of the marriage an especially painful dimension of this controversy.

Brother Kalam Ink Fires Back Who’s Telling the Truth?

Kalam Ink, who runs his own YouTube channel with a sizeable following, responded to Anurag’s allegations through Instagram. He called his brother’s claims false and accused Anurag of staging the emotional video to generate social media traction after losing the legal battle against the family. He further alleged that Anurag had physically assaulted Ritika, writing: “Ritika ne bhi isko chod diya cause of his doing,” meaning Ritika left Anurag because of his own actions.

Their mother, Chandrakala Dobhal, also surfaced in an audio clip saying she had “no issue with Ritika” a claim that directly contradicts Anurag’s version of events. Yet Dobhal’s older vlogs, which once featured warm family moments, completely stopped after May 2025, lending partial credibility to his claims that the rift runs deep.

The Instagram Live Crash That Shocked the Nation

On the evening of March 7, 2026, Dobhal went live on Instagram and drove his Toyota Fortuner at extreme speed on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway near Masuri, Ghaziabad. He told his mother on camera: “Give me love in my next birth I desperately needed it.” At some point during the broadcast, he steered the vehicle into a divider, ending the live session abruptly.

Bystanders rescued him from the crash site and transported him to Subharti Hospital in Meerut. His manager Rohit Pandey later confirmed via Instagram that Dobhal moved to a second hospital and currently remains in the ICU. Pandey thanked fans for helping locate Dobhal in real time, writing: “Aap log bhagwan ho sach mai.”

Why Fans Cannot Stop Talking About This

The controversy taps into multiple conversations that India’s internet generation cares deeply about mental health, caste discrimination, creator burnout, and domestic conflict. Millions of fans who grew up watching UK07 Rider’s bike rides and family vlogs now find themselves processing a very different kind of content from the same creator.

The competing narratives Dobhal’s claims of abandonment versus his family’s denials and counter-allegations leave the truth, as Times of India noted, “still hidden.” With Anurag in the ICU and no official legal resolution publicly disclosed, the controversy shows no sign of fading soon.
